Friends of the Fr. John C. Silva Foundation and St. Stanislaus School,
The Father Silva Foundation was founded in 1991 by Father John Silva (former pastor of St. Stanislaus Parish Community) and a small group of dedicated school parents and community members. Their Purpose was to support and ensure the continued: tradition faith and excellence of St. Stanislaus Parish School. Our mission continues to make Catholic education affordable to families and to help provide educational materials and support. This support is made possible through contributions by alumni and friends. We would like to invite you to place the Fr. Silva Foundation among your favorite charities.
In recent years, the Father Silva Foundation has helped fund new playground equipment, science tables for the middle school, a new math program for Kindergarten through 5th grade and the computer program. Also in the past we have provided text books for a new reading program, safety fencing, parking lot repairs, bathroom remodeling, and the start of the preschool by purchasing the classroom facility. These are only a few examples of the many ways the foundation has provided for the school.
The foundation has built a solid financial base by their dedicated fundraising. Father Silva challenged the founding members to raise $1,000,000 and we are nearing that goal. Over the years the endowment has grown to over $750,000, while still annually supporting the school. Once again we are asking for you support.
Would you like to be part of this continuing commitment to catholic education? We invite you to send a donation to increase the foundation’s endowment fund, which in turn allows us to further support St. Stanislaus School.
