Let’s go out with joy to share the good news

04/17/2022  |  From the Clergy

When it seems that we are finally making good progress coming out of two years of pandemic, the loom of war obscures the horizon and once again we are experiencing its impact around the world. What remains the same and has not changed over the past two years, as a matter of fact it has not changed since the beginning of time, is the love of God for us, for each one of us.

It is the love of God that strengthen us to be missionary disciples of His only Son our Lord Jesus Christ. By His resurrection, Jesus conquered death forever and gave us the reassurance that He is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him (Jn 14:6).

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his mercy endures forever. Let the house of Israel say, “His mercy endures forever.” (Ps 118)

Christ is risen, alleluia!

As missionary disciples we take time to pray, to serve, and to give. We take time to discover the gifts that the Holy Spirit has given to each of us at Baptism and Confirmation, and then we put those gifts to work for the kingdom of God.

Our beloved St. Stanislaus Community has been blessed by each one of you, by your prayers and generosity. Let’s go out with joy to share the good news, to share the Gospel of the Lord and to be the prophets, priests, and kings we are commissioned to be by our baptism.

Christ is risen, alleluia!

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

Gathered as one around Jesus Christ in the Eucharist, we seek to build a strong family of faith. In our diversity, sensitive to the needs of all, we journey together to our heavenly homeland, encouraging all to share their gifts and live the will of God.
