From St. Stanislaus Elementary School Principal

It is time again to prepare for a new school year. As an educational ministry of the church, St. Stanislaus Catholic School is ready to start a new year, see our students again and get to know the new families who are joining us for the first time.

This Sunday’s gospel reminded us that “Much will be required of the person entrusted with much, and still more will be demanded of the person entrusted with more.” This parish and school have been entrusted with the education, academically and spiritually, of our students.

We welcome every new year in awe of this opportunity and asking God to help us and lead us in this endeavor. We begin each and every school day with prayer because we know that Jesus needs to be at the center of everything we do. We hope and trust that we can be successful in partnering with families who have chosen Catholic education. The second reading this week tells us that “Faith is the realization of what is hoped for and evidence of things not seen.” As we share our own faith journey in the classrooms and around the school and parish, we love to see the growth that happens in our students throughout the year; we are hopeful that they will learn about the love Christ has for them and we trust that we will be led by the Holy Spirit and be blessed throughout the year.

On August 10th, our school staff will welcome back our returning families as well as many new families. Please join us in prayer for a successful and faith-filled new year. It is time to continue the work of educating the whole child and to give thanks for Catholic Education.
