Faith in God's Plan

I truly believe that the Lord has a perfect plan for all of us. When we read the lives of the people in the bible we can relate with there lives, but can we relate with their faith?

Faith moves mountains. I recall one day on vacation passing through the mountains in our car. My daughter look at me and said “Don’t sing it mom, I do have faith”. She was thinking of the song, If you had faith like a mustard seed.

Faith makes our life completely different. It is when we trust that the Lord is in charge and we can see the impossible happen. Faith is when we see the worse but deep down inside we can say like in today’s Psalm “Lord, come to my aid! I have waited, waited for the Lord, and he stooped toward me”.

The Lord always has time for his beloved creation, but when we ask for something it will not be at our time, but God’s perfect time. We must trust and not have fear. Fear does not come from God but from the enemy.

Fear paralyzes us, fear don’t allow us to open the door to great things. As Deacon Porfirio said in the staff retreat we must open the door and move aside for good things to happen. Faith allows us to open the door and be part of the church, ministry, or as simple as talking to the person that is lonely but doesn't fit in your circle of friends. Faith does make a difference, let us ask the Lord for the grace of Faith.
