How Great is God

How beautiful is God, because out of pure love He created us in His image and likeness.

We can see how great God is, since in order to give us the clearest direction on how to be pleasing in His eyes and thus be able to reach His side in His glory, from the beginning He left us some commandments that He asks us to keep and fulfill, since it is our wisdom and prudence. This is what the first reading tells us, and in the second He leaves us His living word through the gospels, inviting us to listen to it and put it into practice.

God, knowing how weak we are, sent His only Son to personally teach us the love of the Father and to form a new alliance to reach the glory of God. Even so, there are so many times that we are not able to follow God's guidance that we complicate our lives by creating so many laws and rules that many times we ourselves are not able to fulfill and we forget the commandments of God. In the same way, the scribes and Pharisees were, complicating their lives just like us.

Yes, I agree with many of you, it is difficult to fulfill God's commandments, but the more we try we can see how God fills us more and more with his love to give us that strength and thus be able to be an example for others.

Let us look for what brings us closer to God, not what distances us from him, let us listen to his word today and put it into practice, do not worry about how everyone else does, let us worry about how each one of us does and how we are in the eyes of God the Father. In putting the word of God into practice is our salvation.
